Serge Kupetz, DDS
DDS and Owner of Smile of the Woodlands
Dr. Kupetz graduated from the prestigious university, NYC College of Dentistry, New York City and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2000. Over the last two decades, Dr. Kupetz has become especially skilled in dental surgeries, periodontal management, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, and crowns and bridges.
He’s also certified to administer laser dental treatments, Botox®, and Invisalign®.
Dr. Kupetz values professionalism and a conservative approach to dentistry. He listens carefully to his patients and treats everyone as unique individuals.
Janie Gonzalez Garcia
Office Manager and Lead Dental Assistant
I was born and raised in Houston.Graduated from College of Health care professions in 1999 and refreshed courses in 2016 for RDA. I’m the office manager for Smile of the Woodlands and speak fluently both English and Spanish.
I’m very amigable, professional and love to treat my patients like family. They call me Mama bear. Smile of the woodlands has given me the opportunity to use my skills and ability to put to practice and build this office like no other. Our patients are like family. Once they cross the door into the chair they leave with a beautiful smile. I have a big family and they are my motive everyday.

I am a Registered Dental Assistant since 2013. I enjoy working for and with Dr. Kupetz at our all digital, up to date practice! My goal is to make patients feel comfortable and leave happy. A little about me, I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 4 handsome boys. I love to spend time with my family, help others, and go to church!
Annie Lozano

I was born and raised in Venezuela and I’m fluent in both English and Spanish. I’ve been passionate about dentistry since 2015, and what I love most about my job is the opportunity to make patients feel comfortable and well-cared for. I believe that a visit to the dentist should be as pleasant as possible, and I’m committed to making that happen for each and every patient.
When I’m not in the dental office, you’ll likely find me traveling to new places, which is another passion of mine. I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, and of course, taking my dog on long walks or playing fetch at the park.
Joana Barcenas
Dental Assistant
I’ve been a Dental Assistant at Smile Of The Woodlands for over a year and I absolutely love it. Our team is like a family, and I enjoy getting to know our patients on a personal level. When I’m not at work, I love listening to music and exploring the outdoors. I’m always open to trying new things!
I’m also a mom to a wonderful son who’s full of interests and kindness. Our office is a second home to me, and we all work hard to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable.

I’ve been in the dental field since 2015, and my main goal is to make sure patients feel right at home when they visit our office. I’m passionate about providing top-notch care and creating a comfortable environment for everyone. When I’m not at work, I love spending quality time with my family and friends.
